Ctrl+P Is Not a Workflow

Skill Level: Intermediate, Advanced

Intended Audience: GIS User, GIS Builder, Management

Abstract

GIS projects usually start with good data, but at some point that data has to survive the very real world of engineering plan sets, review comments, permits, construction notes, and the occasional request to “make it look more official.” This session will show how Maurer-Stutz Geospatial Services uses ArcGIS Pro to turn GIS data into polished, repeatable deliverables that are useful beyond the map. The focus will be on practical workflows for organizing project information, building clear layouts, improving consistency, and reducing the amount of one-off map production that can slow teams down. Attendees will see how ArcGIS Pro can be used not just as a mapping tool, but as a production tool for creating professional planset sheets and exhibits that engineers, planners, contractors, clients, and local agencies can actually use WITHOUT the need for costly extensions.
