Abstract
Chronolog is an innovative, low-cost community science platform that enables people to capture repeat photographs from the same location over time to document environmental change. Using a fixed photo station and a smartphone, participants contribute images that are combined into time-lapse visualizations, creating a powerful record of landscape change. Chronolog engages communities, educators, researchers, and land managers in monitoring ecosystems while fostering environmental stewardship, public participation, and a deeper understanding of how natural and managed landscapes evolve over time.
